What could go wrong? Monster Crab Lab

“What could go wrong?

“What could go wrong?” is a self-promotional image, blending my expertise in Photography, CGI, and Retouching to narrate a compelling story, inspired by the ramifications of rapid technological advancement. Within a covert laboratory, scientist engineer a hybrid mecha-crab designed to alleviate oceanic pollution by clearing debris from the seabed. Amidst their efforts, there lies a hopeful prospect of this innovation serving as a sustainable food solution for the future... if it doesn’t eat them first.
I used AI to create a crab “Matte Painting” to blend with my Photography & CGI. After cleaning up the AI generation, I added CGI elements in the scene and photographed my friends Sam & Danny in studio. The third scientist is an incredible CG Character from 3DScanStore . In the second image, I photographed my Daughter Ophelia with Sam. The crab and water were created with AI and used as an HDRI (360 degree emissive image) in Blender, to surround the CGI underwater buildings (created by Kitbash3D) and partially light the scene.
